We are looking for a talented, driven, and results-oriented Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE to become an integral member of our Litigation Team. The role will work closely with the Directors, and in particular the Korean Team within K3, on a wide range of matters across litigation, commercial, employment, family and wider disputes resolution. In this role, you will develop your experience across a broad range of civil litigation disputes, including general commercial disputes, construction disputes, insurance, insolvency, private wealth disputes including trust disputes, and family disputes with a focus on the division of relationship property and regulatory matters.

This role will involve:
- End-to-end client management (i.e. file management, meeting and taking instruction from clients, developing client base, etc)
- Reviewing cases, providing sound advice and representation to our clients
- Managing numerous legal matters
- Resolving complex disputes
- Drafting court documentation and submissions;
- Court attendances
- Carrying out legal research and opinion work
- Undertaking discovery
- Some translation in liaising with clients (where needed)
About you
As a successful applicant for this position, you will need to be anNZ-admitted Solicitor with around 1-5 years PQE.
Ideally, our right candidate will:
Be confident, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to successfully establish long-lasting relationships with clients
Have excellent grades and drafting skills
Be developing, or have strong written, legal analysis and advisory skills
Have the ability to work collaboratively and as a part of a high-performing team
Be a self-starter, with the ability to handle files from start to finish
Have impeccable time management skills, and the ability to prioritise a high level of workflow to meet deadlines
Have an organised, systematic, and efficient approach to work with excellent attention to detail
Possess the ability to work under pressure, hit the ground running, and learn as you go
Civil and commercial litigation experience is desirable
Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (verbal and written) would be desirable, but is not essential
Be able to accurately and efficiently translate documents, as required/if necessary
While experience in our practice area is advantageous, we are open to candidates with fewer years of post-qualification experience who can demonstrate the right attitude and readiness to take on this exciting opportunity.
