Welcome to the K3 hub
K3 Legal has strengthened its litigation group with the hiring of a new associate.
Cameron Fraser possesses specific expertise in employment law, having advised on matters such as complex restructurings and collective bargaining. He has acted for clients before the Employment Court and Employment Relations Authority.
He has appeared before the High Court and the District Court as well. In addition, he has a wealth of experience in various types of litigation, including civil, criminal and family litigation.
After receiving his degree from the University of Auckland in 2012, Fraser worked with a barristers’ chambers, where he honed his skills in advocacy. While there, he became part of the defence team in a murder case that was tried over six weeks in the High Court and resulted in the defendant being acquitted.
He then relocated to Japan for a time before returning to New Zealand in 2018.
Prior to joining K3 Legal, Fraser took a position with a Hamilton-based full-service firm, focusing on employer/employee disputes. He has advised both small business and large corporations.
K3 Legal director Julie Ding, who had worked with Fraser previously, applauded his addition to the firm.
“With strong litigation experience, particularly having been hands-on with employment and understanding the workings of criminal trials, he is the perfect fit to help with the firm’s recent growth and focus on these areas,” she said.
