Following graduation from the University of Auckland in 1983, Peter worked in the construction and engineering department of a top London law firm. On returning to Auckland, Peter spent seven years in the banking department of a leading national law firm, before becoming a partner at a large Auckland firm, where he headed its commercial, banking and construction groups. Peter then spent a further seven years as a partner in a three partner Auckland commercial law firm. Peter specialises in commercial, property, banking and construction law. He has extensive experience advising clients in these areas. Peter has two adult sons, enjoys playing golf and following a number of other sports.
